Our extra care service offers dedicated on-site care and support for our older customers and customers with support needs living in their own home.
Extra care offers additional care support to help customers maintain their independence in their own homes. Our trained and dedicated on-site carers will provide care and support that changes as your needs change.
With extra care, you’ll receive care and support each week to help you with things like getting up, showering and getting dressed, preparing meals, and other daily living and social activities. You can also access our 24-hour emergency response service.
You’ll be involved in designing your own care plan, which will prioritise your needs, wishes, and personal choices.
Social services, healthcare professionals, and family members can also be involved in planning your care.
If extra care is not available to you, you can still access the high-level quality services available through our homecare service.
Our at homecare service is registered with the Care Quality Commission and can be accessed through a social services or NHS referral, or by requesting and funding this independently.
